It was really hard to seek thesis topics for law students; it has to be of interest and contribute to the field. Some of the areas I looked into were international human rights, intellectual property rights, and environmental law. What sparked my interest most was focusing on contemporary issues, such as how technology affects privacy laws. Hence, research in the field of criminal justice reform was something that popped up in my mind, where I could research the effectiveness of those reforms. I was looking for something that would help me reflect my passion for justice as well as compelling legal challenges. In all honesty, finding the perfect thesis topic has been a turning point in my academic journey.
